WANA (Sep 14) – The Persian Gulf Waterway Management Authority (PGSA) has announced an update to its list of non-compliant vessels and warned insurers, P&I clubs and classification societies against providing services to vessels included on the list.

 

In a statement, the authority said the list of non-compliant vessels had been updated and called on entities dealing with those vessels to refrain from providing them with services.

 

PGSA also warned insurers, P&I clubs and classification societies to avoid providing services to the listed vessels in order to protect themselves from potential consequences arising from their association with them.

 

The warning comes as PGSA has previously published lists of non-compliant vessels and urged shipping industry stakeholders to refrain from providing any services to vessels included on those lists.
