WANA (Mar 24) – In a recent phone conversation, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Iran, and Badr Abdelatty, Foreign Minister of Egypt, discussed the latest regional and international developments, particularly the consequences of an “illegal aggression” by the United States and the Israel against Iran, as well as Iran’s response in legitimate self-defense.

 

During the call, Araghchi outlined the latest positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the attacks and emphasized the firm and lawful response of Iran’s armed forces against the aggressors.

 

For his part, Abdelatty reviewed Egypt’s ongoing consultations with regional and international actors aimed at reducing tensions in the region.

 

Both ministers underscored the importance of continuing diplomatic consultations between their countries.
