Phone Call Between Saudi Crown Prince and Iran’s President

WANA (Jan 27) – Today’s phone call between Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has drawn media attention amid the tensions between Iran and the United States.

Pezeshkian: “Iran’s principled approach is based on internal unity and constructive engagement with Islamic countries. The solidarity of the Islamic Ummah is an effective strategy to confront tensions and instability.”

Bin Salman: “Saudi Arabia considers any threat or tension against Iran unacceptable and is ready to collaborate with Iran and regional countries to establish lasting peace and security.”

The President, expressing appreciation for the support and solidarity of Islamic countries with the Iranian people in recent events, stated: “I believe that the unity and cohesion of Islamic countries guarantee lasting security, stability, and peace in the region.
