WANA (Mar 29) – In the early hours of Sunday, March 29, the Foreign Ministry of Pakistan issued a statement announcing that Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, held a phone conversation with Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister. During the call, Dar emphasized that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only viable path to achieving lasting peace.

 

According to the statement, the two sides exchanged views on the evolving situation in the Middle East and ongoing regional developments.

 

Dar stressed the importance of de-escalation, stating that halting all attacks and hostile actions by the parties involved is essential.

 

He added that Pakistan will continue its commitment to supporting all efforts aimed at restoring peace and stability in the region.
