WANA (Sep 05) – Ajit Doval, National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister of India, held a phone conversation with Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council and advisor to the Supreme Leader. He congratulated Larijani on assuming this responsibility under such critical circumstances and wished him success.

 

Ali Larijani expressed his gratitude for the kind words and discussed strategies for expanding economic cooperation between the two countries, as well as strengthening security and defense relations and advancing the Chabahar project. It was agreed that further negotiations would continue during an upcoming visit to India.
