Presence of Iranian Tech Companies at GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai
WANA (Oct 16) – Alireza Mahmoudi, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, visited GITEX Global 2025, the world’s largest technology exhibition, and met with executives of Iranian knowledge-based and tech-driven companies participating in the event.
During the visit, the Consul General emphasized the importance of maximizing networking opportunities at such a major international platform, describing the success of Iranian companies among global competitors as a source of national pride and accomplishment.
While touring the pavilion of Hamrah Aval (Mobile Telecommunication Company of Iran – MCI), the largest mobile service provider in the region with over 27 million subscribers, Mahmoudi was briefed on the company’s latest technological innovations showcased at GITEX, which have drawn significant attention from visitors and foreign firms alike.
GITEX Global 2025, currently underway in Dubai, hosts more than 6,800 international companies across a vast exhibition area of 240,000 square meters. Among them, over 20 Iranian enterprises — including the prominent participation of Hamrah Aval — are showcasing their latest products and innovations. The Chambers of Commerce of Iran, Tehran, and Isfahan have also played an active role in supporting this strong Iranian presence.
