WANA (Apr 08) – President Masoud Pezeshkian took to the social media platform X to address the nation following the announcement of a ceasefire, emphasizing a message of national solidarity and credit to the late leadership.

 

In his post, the President framed the cessation of hostilities as a strategic victory achieved through both sacrifice and public resolve. He stated that the ceasefire, established upon the acceptance of Iran’s general principles, is “the fruit of the blood of our martyred leader, the Great Khamenei, and the achievement of the presence of all people on the scene.”

 

President Pezeshkian underscored that the conclusion of active combat does not signal a retreat, but rather a transition into a new phase of national effort.

 

“From today onward, we shall remain by each other’s side—whether in the field of diplomacy, the field of defense, on the streets, or in the arena of public service,” Pezeshkian wrote.
