Projectile Hits Bushehr Nuclear Plant Site; No Damage Reported
WANA (Mar 24) – In continuation of hostile actions by “U.S.- Israeli” forces, a projectile struck the perimeter of the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant at approximately 9:08 PM local time on March 24, 2026.
According to preliminary reports, the incident resulted in no casualties, financial loss, or technical damage.
Authorities confirmed that all various sections of the facility remain intact and fully operational.
This event marks the second such occurrence in recent weeks, as a similar projectile landed within the plant’s grounds on March 17, 2026, which also concluded without reported injuries or structural damage.
The targeting of peaceful nuclear installations is a direct violation of international regulations and treaties regarding the immunity of such sites from military action.
Experts warn that these provocations carry significant risks, potentially leading to irreparable safety hazards for the immediate environment, security instability across the Persian Gulf region, and severe threats to the well-being of neighboring coastal nations.
