Protests in Karachi Against U.S. Actions in Iran
WANA (Mar 01) – Demonstrations took place in Karachi, Pakistan, as protesters rallied against the U.S. and Israeli regimes’ actions towards Iran, as well as the reported martyrdom of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
Protesters gathered in the city and marched toward the U.S. Consulate, condemning what they referred to as acts of aggression against Iran. According to some reports, gunfire was heard coming from inside the consulate, and several protesters are believed to have been injured or killed in the incident.
Angry demonstrators managed to breach security barriers and enter the consulate grounds, where they set fire to the U.S. flag, expressing their opposition to the ongoing actions they consider to be aggressive and terrorist in nature toward the Islamic Republic of Iran.
