Putin and Pezeshkian to Meet in Turkmenistan
WANA (Dec 11) – Iran’s ambassador to Moscow announced on Wednesday that the presidents of Iran and Russia will hold a meeting and talks in Turkmenistan.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to visit Ashgabat on December 11–12 to attend a forum marking the International Day of Peace and Trust, as well as the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.
According to reports, Iran’s ambassador to Moscow, Kazem Jalali, said that a bilateral meeting between Putin and Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian has also been arranged during the trip.
