WANA (Jun 08) – The commander of Iran’s Quds Force has announced the formation of what he described as a new “Resistance security belt,” warning that any actions by the United States or Israel in the region would be met with a coordinated response from the Resistance Axis.

A message published on the official social media account attributed to Brigadier General Esmail Qaani, commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), expressed support for Yemen’s recent actions.

In the statement, Qaani described Yemen’s response as timely and decisive, calling it a sign of the strategic awareness of the Resistance Axis.

“Yemen’s courageous and timely action demonstrates the wisdom of the Resistance Front. If necessary, others will join as well,” he wrote.

Qaani went on to unveil what he called a new regional security framework, stating: “From the Strait of Hormuz to Bab al-Mandab, and from the Persian Gulf to the Red Sea, a new Resistance security belt will be established.”

The Quds Force commander also warned of the consequences of actions by the United States and Israel in the region, saying that “the provocations of the Zionist regime and the United States in this area will trigger a response from the united Resistance Front.”

In the final part of his message, Qaani emphasized the strategic position of resistance forces along key maritime chokepoints, declaring: “Borderless fighters are watching over your vital passageways. Continue your aggression, and they will seize you by the throat.”
