WANA (Jul 21) – The Speaker of Iran’s Parliament has called on Islamic countries to break the siege of Gaza and put an end to silence and indifference.

 

Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, wrote in Arabic on his personal account on the social media platform X: “O Muslims! O people of the world! Today, the greatest genocide in modern history is taking place. The criminal Zionist apartheid regime is determined to eliminate the people of Gaza through starvation.

 

O rulers of Islamic countries! Rise up in support of the people of Gaza; break the siege and end this silence and indifference.”

 

In his post, the Speaker used the hashtag: #GazaIsDyingOfHunger.

In 15 months of Israeli attacks 57000 people have lost their lives and 1,413 families have lost all their members due to these attacks on Gaza, with no surviving members remaining. Social media/ WANA News Agency
