Qalibaf: Israel’s Actions in Gaza Reminiscent of Nazi Crimes
WANA (Jul 29) – The Speaker of Iran’s Parliament emphasized: Israel’s actions in Gaza are reminiscent of Nazi crimes; therefore, every moment of delay in standing against Israel amounts to complicity in the crimes of the Nazis of the 21st century.
Today, Tuesday, the meeting titled “Commitment to International Law and the UN Charter for Ensuring International Peace and Security” was held on the sidelines of the Sixth Conference of World Parliament Speakers, initiated by the Islamic Republic of Iran and with the participation of country representatives in Geneva.
Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, said at the Geneva meeting on commitment to international law: “Israel’s actions in Gaza are reminiscent of Nazi crimes.”
He added: “Every moment of delay in standing up to Israel is tantamount to complicity in the crimes of the Nazis of the 21st century.” Qalibaf emphasized that Iran, amidst a sea of oppression and injustice, stands firm like a rock.
The Speaker of Parliament stated:
“The catastrophe unfolding in Gaza today is one of the darkest moments in human history — where the apartheid regime of Israel, with the support of global powers, is committing deliberate crimes against civilians, especially children. What we are witnessing is not a war; it is an organized genocide that insults all of humanity. This is the emergence of the Nazis of the 21st century.”
He added:
“UN reports, such as ‘Anatomy of a Genocide’ and ‘More Than What a Human Can Bear,’ prove that these crimes are not accidental, but part of a plan to ethnically cleanse the Palestinians through famine, sexual violence, destruction of hospitals, and the targeted killing of children. Despite international rulings, the world has stood silent in the face of this catastrophe and, in doing so, has legitimized it.”
The Speaker stressed:
“The Islamic Republic of Iran, despite all pressures, has stood firm against this injustice. On June 13, 2025, the Zionist regime, with U.S. backing, attacked Iran’s peaceful facilities, leading to the martyrdom of over 1,100 individuals, including scientists and children. This attack was a clear violation of international law and exposed the ineffectiveness of global institutions.”
He added:
“Iran, in response to this aggression and within the framework of its right to self-defense, carried out a countermeasure and forced the enemy to retreat. This response was not just a military victory, but a firm message to the global community: in the face of modern Nazism, resistance is the only path. Iran defends Gaza not because of politics, but because of humanity.”
Qalibaf concluded:
“Gaza today is not merely a regional crisis — it is a test of global conscience. If the Nazis of our time are not stopped there, the fire of this catastrophe will spread across the world. Today is the moment of decision: either stand against oppression, or become a partner in the darkest crimes of contemporary history.”
