WANA (Nov 09) – Iran’s Parliament Speaker, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, has condemned former U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent remarks acknowledging “direct responsibility” for an attack on Iran, calling the statement a clear violation of the UN Charter and fundamental principles of international law.

Iran Condemns Trump’s Admission of U.S. Role in Israeli Aggression
WANA (Nov 08) – Iran’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Iravani, has condemned US President Donald Trump’s recent admission regarding the United States’ involvement in the Israeli regime’s aggression against Iran. In his letter addressed to the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and the President of the UN Security Council Michael […]
His comments came after Trump, in a televised interview, openly spoke about his role in ordering military operations against targets inside Iran — remarks that have sparked widespread international reactions. Analysts described Trump’s comments as “an admission of violating the sovereignty of a UN member state,” in direct contradiction to Article 2 of the UN Charter, which prohibits the threat or use of force in international relations.
In another part of his address, Qalibaf referred to his recent trip to Islamabad, describing it as part of “parliamentary diplomacy” aimed at strengthening economic, cultural, and security cooperation between Iran and Pakistan.
He stated, “The economic needs of Iran and Pakistan are complementary, and Pakistan’s geographic position can serve as a bridge connecting Iran to East Asia.” According to Qalibaf, discussions during the trip covered the implementation of bilateral agreements, expansion of border trade, increasing the trade volume to $10 billion, and advancing trilateral cooperation with China.
