Meeting Between Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister and Iran’s Foreign Minister
WANA (Nov 30) – As part of ongoing diplomatic consultations between Tehran and Riyadh, Saud bin Mohammed Al-Sati, Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, visited Tehran today and held a meeting with Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Seyed Abbas Araghchi.
According to Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the visit aims to discuss bilateral relations and exchange views on regional developments, including the situations in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Lebanon, and Syria.
This diplomatic engagement comes within the framework of continued contacts following the resumption of relations between the two countries. In early November, Kazem Gharibabadi, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs, visited Saudi Arabia and held talks with the Saudi Deputy Minister for International Affairs as well as the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs.
