Rezaei Warns U.S.: Don’t Indulge in Illusions
WANA (May 06) – Mohsen Rezaei, Military Advisor to the Supreme Leader, issued a sharp warning to United States leadership, dismissing American strategic claims as “delusions” and cautioning against military intervention.
In a statement released via social media, Rezaei targeted the President of the United States, the Secretary of Defense (referred to as the Secretary of War), and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He claimed these officials share a common trait of attempting to “sell their delusions as achievements”.
Rezaei emphasized the readiness of Iran’s armed forces, contrasting potential future conflicts with historic American military successes.
He stated that what awaits U.S. forces would not resemble the victories of Normandy or Sicily, but would instead look like “Tabas and Isfahan,” referencing previous military confrontations and failed interventions in Iran.
The statement concluded with a blunt warning to American leadership: “Don’t indulge in illusions”.
