WANA (Jul 09) – The consular section of the Russian Embassy in Tehran has resumed full operations after a temporary suspension prompted by the Israeli regime’s recent military attack on Iran.

In a statement published via the embassy’s Telegram channel, the Russian mission announced that consular services for Russian citizens have resumed in all areas.

According to the notice, consular hours will be on Sundays and Tuesdays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. It also confirmed that the issuance and delivery of visas are being carried out as usual.

Prior to the Russian Embassy’s reopening, the British Foreign Office announced on July 7 that its embassy in Tehran had resumed operations following a temporary closure.

Switzerland, which represents U.S. interests in Iran, also reopened its Tehran embassy after conducting a joint risk assessment with Iranian and American officials. However, its consular services, including visa issuance, remain suspended for now.
