According to the Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Sistan-Baluchestan, acting on public cooperation via the 114 intelligence hotline, the operation led to the killing and arrest of six terrorists.
During searches of the terrorists’ hideouts in Chabahar and Nikshahr, security forces seized 13 ready-to-use bombs, 11 electric detonators, three remote controls, nine remote circuits, eight walkie-talkies, three explosive traps, 38 meters of detonating cord, explosive materials, two vehicles, and 800 rounds of M16 and heavy machine gun ammunition.
Authorities stated that this terrorist cell planned attacks on economic infrastructure and crowded public areas to spread insecurity and further the comprehensive aggression strategy of the Israeli occupation regime.
