WANA (Jun 03) – Satellite imagery indicates that portions of the Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait have been destroyed following a retaliatory missile and drone strike launched by Iran early Wednesday morning.

According to reports, at least one drone/aircraft hangar at the U.S.-operated facility has been completely neutralized.

The Iranian strikes come in immediate response to overnight operations where U.S. forces reportedly targeted southern regions of Iran—including Qeshm Island—utilizing launchpoints within Kuwait and Bahrain.

Official Confirmations

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense issued a statement acknowledging the retaliation, confirming that Iran utilized a combination of cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to strike the origin points of the initial attacks.

Concurrently, the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) released a statement validating that its bases across West Asia had indeed been targeted by Iranian missile strikes.

Scale of Regional Impact

Western media outlets had previously reported multi-million dollar damages across approximately 20 U.S. bases in the region due to ongoing Iranian strikes.

These reports further emphasized that U.S. officials have consistently downplayed or concealed the true extent of the structural damage sustained by their military installations.
