Schedule for Iran vs. Gambia Match Announced
WANA (May 26) – Iran’s national football team has commenced its final preparatory training camp ahead of its departure to Mexico for the 2026 World Cup, with a friendly match scheduled against Gambia on Friday, May 29.
The Iranian squad began this final training phase on Monday, May 19. The upcoming warm-up fixture against Gambia is set to kick off at 18:30 local time (19:00 Tehran time) at the Mardan Sports Complex in Antalya, Turkey.
Meanwhile, members of the Gambian national team began arriving in Antalya last night. Head coach Johnny McKinstry’s squad is assembling in the Turkish resort city to open their own preparatory camp ahead of Friday’s international fixture.
