WANA (May 12) – Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi met with UAE Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi on Monday, marking a new round of high-level diplomatic engagement between the two regional powers.

 

In this meeting, the latest status of bilateral relations in various fields was discussed and reviewed. The two sides, while reviewing regional developments, emphasized the need for greater cooperation and coordination between the two countries to strengthen security and stability in the region.

 

Iranian Foreign Minister, expressing strong disgust and deep regret over the ongoing genocide and massacre of the Muslim people of Palestine in Gaza and the West Bank, as well as the aggressions and terrorist actions of this regime against Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen, considered confronting the expansionism and continuous violations of law by the occupying regime to require serious attention and action from regional and Islamic countries.

 

During the meeting, the process of indirect Iran-U.S. talks was also discussed, and our Foreign Minister informed his Emirati counterpart of the latest developments related to this matter.

 

Araghchi is also scheduled to meet with Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, to continue discussions on strengthening cooperation and addressing mutual concerns across the region.

 

The Iranian Foreign Minister’s trip to the UAE follows his recent visits to Saudi Arabia and Qatar, signaling Tehran’s broader diplomatic outreach in the Persian Gulf.
