WANA (Aug 27) – Maritime traffic data shows that vessel activity across the main waterways of the Persian Gulf remains significantly below normal levels.

 

According to data from Kpler, the number of vessels carrying essential goods through the Strait of Hormuz increased on Wednesday compared with Tuesday. However, traffic levels have yet to return to the average recorded over the past 10 days.

 

The trend indicates that shipping activity through the Strait of Hormuz and the main waterways of the Persian Gulf remains below its usual levels.

 

The continued slowdown could affect maritime transportation and the movement of essential goods through one of the world’s most important trade and energy routes.
