SNSC Secretary: IAEA Anti-Iran Resolution Is Illegal and Political
WANA (Sep 10) – Iran’s Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), Mohsen Rezaei, described the recent resolution adopted by the IAEA Board of Governors against Iran as “illegal, technically baseless and entirely political,” saying clear traces of pressure from the United States and Israel could be seen in its adoption.
In a post on X, Rezaei said the resolution was an illegal measure with no technical basis, adding that “clear traces of pressure from the United States and the Israeli regime” were evident in it.
He also warned about the consequences of what he described as political actions by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), saying such measures could push countries toward withdrawing from the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT).
