Spain Moves to Reopen Its Embassy in Tehran
WANA (Apr 09) – Spain’s foreign minister has announced the country’s decision to reopen its embassy in Tehran, following its closure in March amid the outbreak of conflict.
According to reports, José Manuel Albares stated on Wednesday that Spain’s ambassador has been instructed to return to Tehran and resume diplomatic activities.
He emphasized that Madrid intends to use all available means—including maintaining a presence in the Iranian capital—to support diplomatic efforts and help sustain the ceasefire.
The move comes as international efforts to ease tensions and stabilize the situation in the region continue.
