Spokesperson of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters: War Dynamics Are Changing Rapidly
WANA (Mar 22) – Brigadier General Ebrahim Zolfaghari, spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, stated that the dynamics of the conflict in the region are rapidly changing, and that the Israeli military’s control over the defense of occupied Palestinian territories is “collapsing.”
Zolfaghari said that following a series of successful interceptions of enemy aircraft by Iran’s air defense forces on Saturday, an Israeli-American combat drone was shot down over Tehran during reconnaissance operations. The drone was reportedly neutralized under the control of Iran’s integrated air defense network before it could carry out any combat mission.
He added that in the seventy-second wave of the “True Promise 4” operations, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy targeted fighter jet hangars and fuel depots at Al Minhad and Ali Al Salem airbases. The strike, carried out with ballistic missiles and kamikaze drones, hit the bases that had recently served as launch points for attacks on Iranian islands.
In the seventy-third wave of the operation, codenamed “Ya Haidar,” southern and northern areas of the occupied Palestinian territories were struck with missiles and drones from the IRGC Aerospace Force.
Military and security facilities in Arad, Dimona, Eilat, Beersheba, and Kiryat Gat were reportedly hit after Israel’s air defense systems collapsed, along with the U.S.-aligned bases of Ali Al Salem, Al Minhad, and Al Dhafra.
Zolfaghari reported that initial assessments indicate over 200 casualties, and said Israeli authorities have increased pressure on journalists and eyewitnesses to suppress reports on the damage and casualties.
He described the situation for residents of Israel as “dire and neglected,” particularly for those living near nuclear and military facilities.
“War equations are shifting rapidly, and Israel’s control over the defense of the occupied Palestinian territories is disintegrating,” Zolfaghari added.
He also highlighted Hezbollah fighters’ role in establishing a “high-pressure battlefield” in northern and central “occupied territories”, congratulating regional Muslims on what he described as strategic victories.
He concluded with a warning that if Iran’s fuel and energy infrastructure is targeted, all U.S. and Israeli energy, IT, and desalination facilities in the region would become retaliatory targets.
