WANA (Jun 13) – Following the terrorist attacks by the  Israeli regime on various sites in Iran, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, issued a statement on Friday.

In the statement, Grossi said: “The IAEA is closely monitoring the deeply concerning situation in Iran.”

The statement confirmed that: “The Natanz site was among the targets.”

Grossi further added: “The Agency is in contact with Iranian authorities regarding radiation levels. We are also in communication with our inspectors in the country.”

Rafael Grossi, stated on Friday that Iran’s nuclear facilities in Fordow and Isfahan were not affected by the Israeli attacks, referring to his consultations with Iranian officials.

The Israeli regime’s attack came just one day after the IAEA Board of Governors passed a resolution submitted by Western countries — a resolution based not on technical grounds, but on a political report authored by Grossi himself.
