WANA (May 30) – Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters has announced that the country’s armed forces maintain full authority over the management of the Strait of Hormuz, warning against any violations of regulations governing maritime traffic in the strategic waterway.

In a statement, the headquarters said that the management of the Strait of Hormuz is being exercised with full authority by the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran. It stressed that all commercial vessels, tankers, and other ships are required to use designated transit routes and obtain the necessary authorization from the naval forces of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The statement emphasized that any failure to comply with these regulations could seriously jeopardize the safety and security of maritime navigation in the area.

Khatam al-Anbiya further warned that any attempt by military vessels to interfere with the management of the Strait of Hormuz or disrupt maritime traffic would be met with a response from the Iranian Armed Forces.

According to the statement, Iran’s military remains fully prepared to ensure security and order in the strategic waterway and will not tolerate any actions that undermine its management of the strait.
