WANA (Apr 08) – The head of the Information Center of Iran’s Ministry of Education announced that the number of students and teachers killed in “American–Israeli attacks” has risen to 312, with 207 others injured.

 

Hossein Sadeghi said that 253 students have been killed so far, including 143 boys, 103 girls, five male preschoolers, and two female preschoolers. He added that 182 students have been injured.

 

Sadeghi further stated that 59 teachers and educational staff have been killed, including 39 women and 11 men, while 24 others were injured. He also noted that seven of those killed were retired education personnel.

 

He added that educational infrastructure has suffered significant damage, with 857 educational spaces, 55 administrative education facilities, 32 sports halls, and 15 cultural centers affected. Additionally, eight student camps have been damaged or destroyed.
