WANA (Oct 20) – The Supreme Leader of Iran, referring to the statements made by the U.S. President (in his recent visit to Israel) who, while taking pride in bombing Iran’s nuclear industry, claimed to have destroyed it, said: “It does not matter; keep believing that. But who are you to decide what a country can or cannot have? What does it have to do with America whether Iran has nuclear capabilities or not? These interferences are improper, wrong, and bullying.”

Referring to the nationwide protests of seven million people against Trump in various U.S. states and cities, he said: “If you truly have power, instead of spreading lies, interfering in other countries, and building military bases in them, calm these millions and send them back to their homes.”

In another part of his speech, referring to the words of the U.S. President about the region and Iran, the Supreme Leader said: “The U.S. President, by traveling to occupied Palestine and making a handful of empty and foolish statements, tried to give hope and morale to the desperate Zionists.”

He described Iran’s response as an “unbelievable slap” that was delivered to the Israeli regime in the 12-day war as the cause of their despair, and added: “The Zionists did not expect that Iranian missiles could penetrate deep into their sensitive and important centers with fire and flames, destroying and turning them into ashes.”

Iranian Missiles Are Ready; They Will Be Used Again If Necessary

Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that Iran did not buy or rent its missiles from anywhere, but rather they are a handmade and authenticated product of Iranian youth. He said: “When an Iranian youth enters the field and provides scientific infrastructure through effort and persistence, he is capable of achieving such great feats.”

The Supreme Leader added, “These missiles were prepared and used by our armed forces and military industries, and they still have them. If necessary, they will use them again at another time.”

In the Gaza War, the U.S. Was Undoubtedly the Main Partner in the Zionist Regime’s Crimes

After summarizing the reason for Trump’s words and “clownish behavior” as an attempt to encourage the Zionists, Ayatollah Khamenei addressed several of his claims, saying: “In the Gaza war, the U.S. was undoubtedly the main partner in the Zionist regime’s crimes, as even the U.S. President himself admitted that they were working with this regime in Gaza. Even if he hadn’t said it, it was obvious, since the weapons and equipment dropped on the heads of the defenseless people of Gaza during this war belonged to America.”

Ayatollah Khamenei described Trump’s other claim — that America is fighting terrorism — as another example of his lies, adding: “More than 20,000 children and infants were martyred in the Gaza war. Were they terrorists? The terrorist is America, which created ISIS and unleashed it on the region, and today has gathered some of its members in a certain area for its own use.”

He referred to the killing of about 70,000 people in the Gaza war and the “martyrdom” of more than a thousand Iranians in the 12-day war as clear evidence of the terrorist nature of America and the Israeli regime, stating: “In addition to the blind killing of people, they assassinated our scientists such as Tehranchi and Abbasi and took pride in this crime. But they should know that they cannot assassinate knowledge.”

The Iranian Nation Will Not Submit to Coercion

Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that the true terrorist and embodiment of terrorism is America, calling Trump’s claim of supporting the Iranian people a lie: “America’s secondary sanctions — which many countries follow out of fear — are against the Iranian nation. Therefore, you are the enemy of the Iranian nation, not its friend.”

Referring to Trump’s expression of readiness for negotiation, he said: “He says, ‘I am a man of deals,’ while if a deal involves coercion and the result is predetermined, it is not a deal but an imposition and bullying. The Iranian nation will not submit to coercion.”

America Is a Warmonger and Spreads War

Referring to Trump’s remarks about death and war in West Asia (as they call the Middle East), the Leader said: “You are the ones who start wars. America is a warmonger and spreads war in addition to terrorism. Otherwise, what are all these U.S. military bases doing in this region? What are you doing here? What does this region have to do with you? This region belongs to its own people, and the war and death here are the result of America’s presence.”

Ayatollah Khamenei concluded by describing the U.S. President’s positions as wrong, false, and bullying, emphasizing: “Although bullying may influence some countries, by divine grace it will never affect the Iranian nation.”

Meeting with Sports Champions and Scientific Medalists

This morning, Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, met with hundreds of champions from various sports and medalists of international scientific Olympiads, describing these achievers as the manifestation of growth and national strength.

Ayatollah Khamenei recalled the enemies’ efforts to prevent Iran’s scientific progress and said: “The ill-wishers of the Iranian nation also try to make the atmosphere of Iran look dark and gloomy by denying or ignoring certain successes, mixing truth and falsehood, exaggerating some flaws, and spreading biased propaganda. But you(champions), by standing on the peaks of sports and science, have shown everyone the bright atmosphere of the country.”
