Supreme Leader: We Do Not Seek War, But Will Not Relinquish Our Rights
WANA (Apr 09) – Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, issued a strategic message on the occasion of the 40th day following the assassination of the late Leader of the Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.
In this message, while enumerating the managerial characteristics of the “Martyr Leader,” he emphasized a change in Iran’s approach to maritime territories and regional relations.
Entering a New Phase of Strait of Hormuz Management and the Demand for Reparations
The Supreme Leader, stating clearly that Iran has never sought war but will not retreat from its rights, declared: “Everyone must know that, by the grace of Allah the Exalted, we will certainly not let go of the criminal aggressors who attacked our country; we will definitely demand compensation for every single damage inflicted, as well as the blood money for the martyrs and the disability pensions for the veterans of this war.”
He added a serious warning: “We will certainly move the management of the Strait of Hormuz into a new phase.” The Leader of the Revolution emphasized that in this path, the entire Front of Resistance is considered as a unified whole.
Direct Message to Southern Neighbors: Turn Away from the Arrogant Powers
Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei, addressing the neighboring countries south of Iran, stated: “You are witnessing a miracle; so see correctly, understand correctly, stand in the right place, and be suspicious of the false promises of the devils.”
Pointing out that Iran is still waiting for an appropriate reaction from these countries to demonstrate brotherhood, he emphasized: “This will not happen except through your turning away from the arrogant powers, who miss no opportunity to humiliate and exploit you.”
Popular Presence: The Pillar of Authority in the Field and Negotiations
He described the continuous presence of the people on the scene as a vital pillar of the current status of a powerful Iran and warned that the scene should not be abandoned due to the possibility of negotiations.
He noted: “It should not be assumed that because there is an intent to negotiate with the enemy, presence in the streets is unnecessary; rather, if—hypothetically and out of necessity—the time for a period of silence on the military battlefield has arrived, the duty of those individuals who are able to be present in the squares, neighborhoods, and mosques appears heavier than before.”
He emphasized that the cries of the people in the squares directly affect the outcome of negotiations.
Explaining the Behavioral Traits and “Arts” of the “Martyr Leader”
In another part of the message, the Supreme Leader explained the leadership paradigm of Ayatollah Khamenei, calling him the “Architect of Iran’s Military Power.” He pointed to the prominent “arts” of the late Leader:
The Art of Social Cultivation: Shaping the thoughts, spirits, and emotions of the vast masses of people to create a public discourse.
The Art of Institution-Building: Creating purposeful institutions with a vision toward distant horizons during the early years of his leadership.
Military Empowerment: Innovation and initiative in strategic dimensions that allowed Iranian missiles and drones to bring the most advanced systems to their knees at the lowest cost.
The Art of Foresight: The ability to see distant events, achieved through patience and steadfastness on the path of truth.
Final Recommendations to the Nation and the Resistance Front
He called the Iranian nation the definitive victor of the “Third Imposed War” and emphasized the necessity of thanking God for this blessing by striving to achieve a “Strong Iran.”
He also asked the people to remain vigilant against enemy-backed media and to treat their content with great suspicion.
In conclusion, while emphasizing the need to keep the resolve for revenge alive, he prayed to God for the final victory of the Front of “Truth over Falsehood and Arrogance”.
