WANA (Feb 25) – Armenia’s Minister of Defense held talks today with Iran’s Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council.

 

Suren Papikyan, the Armenian Minister of Defense who is visiting Tehran, met and conferred today, Wednesday, with Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council.

 

On Tuesday morning, Suren Papikyan was officially welcomed by Amir Aziz Nasirzadeh, Iran’s Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics.

 

In a statement, the Embassy of Iran wrote that the visit of Mr. Suren Papikyan, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, to the Islamic Republic of Iran reflects the advancement of comprehensive strategic relations between Iran and Armenia and plans to further deepen these strategic ties.
