WANA (Aug 14) – A recently unveiled mural in Tehran’s Jihad Square titled “America, the World’s Poisonous Mushroom” has sparked widespread engagement among Japanese social media users following its publication online.

 

The mural, located in Fatemi (Jihad) Square, was installed to mark the anniversary of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Designed with Japanese typography, the artwork targets historical U.S. militarism and foreign policy.

 

According to online reports, numerous Japanese social media users expressed solidarity with the Iranian public and leadership, commending Iran’s stance against American threats and describing the country’s posture as particularly resolute.

 

The display, featuring the Japanese slogan framing the United States as a “poisonous mushroom,” was created to express solidarity with nations historically impacted by U.S. foreign interventions and hegemony.
