WANA (Apr 05) – The Tehran Prosecutor has ordered the identification, seizure of assets, and freezing of bank accounts belonging to more than 100 individuals abroad accused of supporting hostile entities, including media managers, journalists, athletes, and actors.

 

According to the announcement, the measures target individuals linked to media outlets such as Iran International and Manoto TV, as well as other figures accused of supporting hostile actions.

 

The order was issued under laws concerning intensified punishment for espionage and cooperation with hostile states, particularly in relation to alleged collaboration with the United States and Israel.

 

Authorities said 63 managers and employees associated with Iran International are included in the order, while 25 individuals linked to Manoto TV are also subject to asset seizure and account freezes.

 

Additionally, the list includes 25 Iranian nationals living abroad who are accused of supporting military actions against Iran, particularly through social media.

 

The individuals reportedly reside in countries including the United States, Sweden, the Netherlands, Georgia, and the United Kingdom.
