WANA (Apr 28) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi concluded his diplomatic visit to Russia, emphasizing the “depth and strength” of the bilateral relationship between Tehran and Moscow.

In a post shared via social media, Araghchi expressed satisfaction with his engagements, which included key meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

The visit comes at a critical time as the Middle East remains in what the minister described as “major flux.” Araghchi welcomed Russia’s ongoing support for diplomacy and expressed gratitude for Moscow’s solidarity amid recent regional events.

Reports indicate that the discussions focused heavily on aligning positions regarding regional security and the current state of international negotiations.

During the meeting, President Putin reportedly reaffirmed Russia’s commitment to strengthening the strategic cooperation between the two nations, stating that Moscow would continue to support initiatives that serve the interests of regional stability.

This trip marks the final leg of a diplomatic tour for Araghchi, following visits to Pakistan and Oman, as Tehran seeks to coordinate with key regional and global partners.
