Telephone Conversation Between the FMs of Iran and Qatar
WANA (Apr 26) – Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, held a telephone conversation with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, to exchange views on the latest regional developments and ongoing diplomatic processes.
In this call, Iran’s Foreign Minister detailed various aspects of the current regional situation, particularly developments related to the ceasefire and the challenges facing its stabilization.
He informed his Qatari counterpart of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s latest initiatives and diplomatic efforts aimed at ending the war and reducing tensions.
Continuing the dialogue, both parties highlighted the importance of constructive involvement by regional countries in crisis management.
They emphasized the need for continued consultations and diplomatic coordination to support peace initiatives and strengthen regional stability.
The Foreign Minister of Qatar welcomed the Islamic Republic of Iran’s diplomatic approach and reaffirmed his country’s readiness to continue playing an active role in mediation and facilitating dialogues intended to bring the war to an end.
