WANA (May 04) – The Commander of the West Azerbaijan Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that an attempt by hostile groups to infiltrate Iran’s western borders has been successfully repelled.

Failure of Infiltration and Instability Plots

The Commander stated that enemies had orchestrated plans to cross the western borders to incite instability within the country. However, these conspiracies were neutralized due to the vigilance and high combat readiness of the Iranian Armed Forces.

Rejection of Ethnic Division

The military official highlighted extensive efforts by “counter-revolutionary” groups to create ethnic divisions in border regions. He noted that local residents rejected the enemies’ overtures, reaffirming their loyalty to the nation and expressing their full readiness to cooperate with security forces in maintaining border integrity.

Advanced Enemy Equipment Neutralized

During the recent clashes, a significant portion of the enemy’s advanced military hardware was reportedly destroyed. According to the Commander, this included the neutralization of modern drones and sophisticated aircraft used by the infiltrating groups.

Global Shift in Stance

The Commander concluded by noting that many countries are increasingly reluctant to align themselves with hostile actions against Iran. He attributed this shift to the growing influence of the Islamic Republic’s discourse and culture on an international level.
