WANA (Nov 2) – The anniversary of the takeover of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran is observed every year on November 4, with commemorations held in front of the former U.S. Embassy and across the country.

 

 

Given the recent escalation of tensions between Iran and the United States following the 12-day war, this year’s gathering in front of the former embassy is expected to draw a larger crowd.

The keynote speaker for the event has not yet been officially announced.

 

 

The ceremony will begin at around 05:00 GMT / 04 Nov, 2025, in front of the former U.S. Embassy.
