WANA (Jun 03) – Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, continued his official meetings with Lebanese officials by holding talks this afternoon (Tuesday) with Lebanon’s Prime Minister, Najib Mikati.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the expansion of bilateral relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Lebanon, as well as recent regional developments.

Araghchi conveyed greetings from senior Iranian officials to the Lebanese Prime Minister and described his visit to Lebanon as part of the 14th administration’s policy of strengthening relations with neighboring and regional countries, including Lebanon.

Referring to the historical and friendly ties between the two nations, the Iranian Foreign Minister stressed the Iranian government’s determination to enhance bilateral relations—particularly in the economic and commercial spheres—through the activation of the Joint Cooperation Commission.
