WANA (Jun 25) – In line with Iranian judiciary’s firm measures, the death sentence of three members of the Israeli regime was carried out this morning at Urmia Prison.

As part of continued firm actions by the judiciary against agents of the Israeli regime, the death sentence of three individuals affiliated with the Israeli regime, who had attempted to smuggle assassination equipment into the country, was executed this morning at Urmia Prison.

Idris Ali, son of Saleh; Azad Shojaei, son of Abdulrahman; and Rasoul Ahmad Rasoul, son of Ahmad, who had attempted to bring in equipment for the assassination of public figures, were arrested and tried on charges of moharebeh (waging war against God) and ifsad fi al-ardh (corruption on earth) through cooperation with hostile foreign states in favor of the Israeli regime.

The sentence for these spies was carried out this morning after the full criminal judicial process was completed and the ruling was upheld by the Supreme Court. Idris Ali, Azad Shojaei, and Rasoul Ahmad were executed and faced the consequences of their actions.

According to documented evidence in the case, these individuals had established contact with a key operative of the Mossad intelligence service in one of the neighboring countries and attempted to bring in equipment for the assassination of public figures.

The named individuals had smuggled the equipment into the country disguised as an alcohol shipment, which ultimately led to the assassination of one individual.

After their identification and arrest by the Ministry of Intelligence, often referred to domestically as “the anonymous soldiers of Imam Mahdi” and the issuance of indictments, court hearings were held with the presence of the defendants and their lawyers. Some of the defendants had two lawyers representing them in court.

Based on the evidence and documentation presented by judicial authorities, including verified links to a Mossad agent in a neighboring country and collaboration with the Israeli regime’s intelligence service, the Revolutionary Court of Urmia sentenced the three defendants to death on charges of moharebeh and ifsad fi al-ardh through cooperation with hostile foreign governments in favor of the Israeli regime.

Following the issuance of the initial verdict, the case was referred to the Supreme Court for appeal. Given the existing evidence, the court upheld and confirmed the ruling.

Ultimately, in accordance with the court rulings and after following all legal procedures, the convicts were executed by hanging and their death sentences were carried out.
