WANA (Apr 07) – The cyber-activist group Handala has announced a major data breach, exposing the identity and classified details of the commander of the Israeli regime’s “Squadron 166.”

In a statement released via their official channels, the group identified the individual as Vered Haimovich, a retired Israeli Air Force (IAF) colonel who has reportedly been operating in a highly sensitive capacity.

The Role of Squadron 166

According to the leak, Haimovich was personally appointed by Eyal Zamir (Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Defense) to lead the top-secret “Squadron 166.” This unit is described as the central hub for planning and managing drone strikes, specifically targeting strategic locations within the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Handala claims that Haimovich personally oversees these operations while simultaneously serving as the “mastermind” behind drone development projects. He is identified as a lead manager for the “Hermes” drone design teams at Elbit Systems, linking his name to the regime’s most vital security and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) projects.

Allegations of Espionage

The announcement included a direct and cryptic message to Haimovich, referencing a past incident in Uzbekistan:

“Do you remember Uzbekistan…? That hotel, that specific room, Vered Haimovich? Do you still remember the night you took €40,000 and handed over access to Elbit’s cameras? Sometimes, a simple room and a secret deal become the starting point for massive revelations. Do you still believe everything went according to your plan?”

Exposure of the “Hermes” Core Team

For the first time, the group has reportedly published an image featuring the core members of the design and development team for the Hermes drone at Elbit Systems—a project that has been shrouded in layers of extreme secrecy for years.

Handala stated that this leak is only the beginning of a broader campaign to expose the hidden dimensions of the “Zionist” regime’s military and security projects. The group warned that more names and specific details would be released in the near future.
