WANA (Feb 28) – The Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in response to direct attacks by Israel and the United States on Iranian territory, announced that Operation “True Promise 4” will continue until the “defeat of the enemy” — a position indicating that the confrontation has entered a new phase.

In its official statement, the ministry explicitly declared regarding the United States and Israel: “Today’s savage attack by the ferocious and warmongering Zionist regime and the aggressive and terrorist U.S. government against our beloved homeland, in the midst of the third round of negotiations, once again proved to the world the child-killing, criminal, and anti-human nature of the Zionist regime and the U.S. government. It demonstrated that these criminals adhere to no commitments, and that human rights and international law are merely tools and pretexts for plundering and killing the oppressed peoples of the world.”

The statement further emphasized that this action “will intensify the course of U.S. failure and the instability of the usurping regime occupying Jerusalem,” adding that the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, with the support of the nation, will continue the previously announced “crushing and regret-inducing” response.

The Ministry of Defense also stated that full weapons and logistical support for combat forces will continue in order to sustain the operations of “True Promise 4.”

What is clear is that the new statement from Iran’s Defense Ministry carries a direct message: Tehran does not consider this phase of tensions to be over. It defines “True Promise 4” not as a temporary measure, but as part of an ongoing process that will continue until what it calls the “defeat of the enemy” is achieved.
