Trump Announces Oil Tanker Movement Through Strait of Hormuz
WANA (Jun 15) – The U.S. President Donald J. Trump has announced that maritime traffic is beginning to resume through the Strait of Hormuz, reporting that numerous vessels loaded with oil are currently departing the strategic waterway.
The announcement was shared via his official social media account. In the statement, Trump specified that the departing ships are utilizing an alternative shipping corridor.
“Ships are starting to move, many loaded up with Oil, out of the Strait of Hormuz,” Trump stated. “They are going along the Southern ‘Highway,’ which is totally safe, secure, and pristine. There are other areas of travel, also!!!”
While reports highlight that the naval blockade concerning Iran has not officially been lifted, Trump’s remarks indicate that commercial vessels have found secure passage through the designated southern route.
