WANA (Jan 21) – In a continuation of his recent threats against Iran, U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to wipe the country off the face of the earth during an interview published yesterday.

Threats of Total Destruction

Referring to what he described as assassination threats from Iranian leaders, the U.S. President stated that while they should not engage in such actions, he had already issued the necessary warnings.

He asserted that if any incident were to occur, the United States would blow up their entire country, emphasizing that the whole nation would be destroyed.

Trump, who has repeatedly claimed to support the Iranian people following the transition of protests into deadly riots and chaos, once again emphasized the destruction of Iran in his latest remarks.

He claimed to have issued very firm orders ensuring that, should anything happen, Iran would be wiped off the face of the earth.

Background

U.S. intelligence officials have frequently expressed concern for Trump’s life since the assassination of General Soleimani in a 2020 U.S. operation during Trump’s first term.

At the start of his second administration, after signing an executive order for “Maximum Pressure” against Iran, Trump had also claimed to have issued orders for Iran’s destruction in the event of his assassination.

At that time, he stated that he had ordered their total destruction if they took such an action, asserting that nothing would remain and that they should not be able to carry out such an act.
