Trump Lacks Balance; Iran’s Readiness Forced Enemy Retreat
WANA (Mar 25) – A member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Parliament stated that Trump lacks balance in his speech and emphasized that Iran’s readiness for a reciprocal response has caused the enemy to retreat.
Esmail Kowsari reacted to the contradictory remarks of the U.S. President by describing him as arrogant and selfish, noting that Trump often retreats when faced with Iran’s firm reaction.
The Tehran representative described threats against infrastructure such as electricity, water, and gas as war crimes that contradict international regulations and the principles established by Western institutions.
He noted that based on Iran’s decisive reaction and the pressure from regional countries regarding the potential risks to the people of the region, Trump extended his self-imposed deadline by another five days.
Kowsari stated that the enemy is waging psychological warfare to influence public opinion, but Iran has already anticipated these moves.
He emphasized that while the enemy lacks sound judgment, Iran takes these matters seriously and remains fully prepared for a reciprocal response to any action.
Regarding the requirements for any potential agreement, the lawmaker mentioned several key demands including the control of the Strait of Hormuz and the payment of reparations since the U.S. and the Israeli regime were the aggressors.
He further stressed the necessity of removing U.S. bases from the region and warned the “occupying regime” that Iran maintains the right to confront any aggression against the Resistance Front.
Other major demands highlighted by Kowsari include the provision of international guarantees to prevent future U.S. aggression, the complete lifting of sanctions, and the return of all assets stolen and taken abroad by the former Shah.
