WANA (May 25) – Donald Trump has fired back at critics of his administration’s diplomatic efforts with Tehran, asserting that any potential agreement with Iran will either be a “great and meaningful one” or will not happen at all.

In a statement posted on his Truth Social platform, Trump lashed out at opposition lawmakers, political rivals, and dissenting members within his own party who he claimed “know nothing about the potential deal” currently under consideration.

Drawing a Line at the JCPOA

Trump explicitly distanced his current diplomatic approach from past American foreign policy, taking aim at the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) negotiated under the Obama administration.

“It will be the exact opposite of the JCPOA disaster negotiated by the failed Obama Administration, which was a direct and open path to a Nuclear Weapon for Iran,” Trump stated. “No, I don’t do deals like that!”

Slabbing Domestic Critics

The statement featured intense criticism of several U.S. lawmakers who have expressed skepticism over the unfolding talks, including Senators Thom Tillis and Bill Cassidy, as well as Congressman Thomas Massie.

Trump dismissed his detractors as “losers” who “do nothing but create division and loss,” while accusing them of consistently undermining his administration’s major policy objectives.
