Trump Threatens Iran Again Despite Ceasefire
WANA (Apr 09) – Despite the ceasefire agreement, the U.S. president has warned that American military forces will remain in the region and has threatened Iran with a renewed military attack.
Just minutes ago, Donald Trump wrote in a post on his social media platform, Truth Social: “Until a real agreement is fully implemented, all U.S. ships, aircraft, and military personnel—along with ammunition, weapons, and anything else necessary and appropriate to carry out deadly force and the complete destruction of an enemy that has already been significantly weakened—will remain in and around Iran.”
Trump, who had previously entered Iranian territory under the pretext of helping the Iranian people and later threatened them by targeting critical infrastructure such as electricity, bridges, and desalination facilities, added that if the agreement is not implemented—“and if for any reason it is not, which is highly unlikely—then the shooting will begin,” greater, better, and more powerful than anything ever seen before.
He once again accused certain media outlets of spreading lies, stating: “The agreement was reached long ago, and contrary to all their false claims, they will not have nuclear weapons, and the Strait of Hormuz will remain open and secure. Anyone who says otherwise is lying.”
In closing, Trump commented on the state of the U.S. military: “Right now, our military is both preparing and resting—but the truth is, it is waiting for its next victory. America is strong again.”
