WANA (Jun 21) – U.S. President Donald Trump has significantly intensified his rhetoric against Tehran, issuing warnings regarding Iran’s regional proxies and the strategic Strait of Hormuz waterway.

Warning Over Lebanese Proxies

In a social media post, President Trump demanded immediate action from Tehran regarding its regional networks.

“Iran must immediately stop their highly paid PROXIES in Lebanon from causing trouble,” Trump stated. He further warned of direct military escalation if the activities continue, adding, “If they don’t, we’ll hit Iran very hard again, just like we did last week, only harder!!!”

Direct Threats to Iranian Negotiators

The U.S. President also, during a recent interview with Fox News, directly threatened Iranian negotiators over potential disruptions to global shipping lanes.

During the interview, Trump asserted that he delivered a severe ultimatum to the Iranian side regarding the critical maritime chokepoint in the Persian Gulf.

According to the U.S. President, he warned the negotiators that if Iran were to close the Strait of Hormuz, they would no longer have a country and would not even be able to return to their homeland.
