WANA (Jul 11) – U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday renewed his military threats against Iran in a post on his Truth Social platform, claiming the United States would launch a massive missile attack if any action were taken against him.

 

In his message, Trump claimed that “1,000 armed missiles ready to launch” are aimed at Iran and warned that thousands more would follow if what he described as an Iranian plot to assassinate the U.S. president were carried out. He also asserted that the U.S. military is prepared to conduct large-scale operations against Iran for an initial one-year period, with the option to extend it.

 

Trump concluded the post by using the phrase “Praise be to God” and explicitly mentioning “Allah.”

In recent weeks, Trump has repeatedly claimed that Iran had plotted, or continues to plot, to assassinate him—allegations that Iranian officials have consistently denied.

 

He also told the New York Post that he had already issued standing orders for an “overwhelming” military response against Iran if any assassination attempt against him were to succeed. The remarks come as tensions between Tehran and Washington remain high.
