Trump Urges Countries to “Take the Strait of Hormuz”
WANA (Mar 31) – Donald Trump reiterated his call for other countries to take action regarding the Strait of Hormuz, urging them to show “courage” and secure the key waterway themselves amid ongoing fuel supply disruptions.
In a post on his Truth Social account, Trump wrote that countries unable to obtain jet fuel due to the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, including the United Kingdom, should either purchase oil from the United States or “build up some delayed courage, go to the Strait, and just TAKE IT.”
He added that countries must “learn how to fight for themselves” and said the United States would not provide assistance, “just like you weren’t there for us.”
Trump further stated that Iran has been “essentially decimated” and that “the hard part is done,” before urging countries to “go get your own oil.”
