WANA (Apr 14) – A delegation of 80 Turkish cultural and media activists, traveling under the banner of the “Türkiye Direniş Dostları” (Turkish Friends of Resistance), formed a human chain in front of the Tabriz Thermal Power Plant today as a powerful gesture of regional unity.

The convoy entered Iran via the Bazargan border crossing earlier this week, embarking on a multi-city tour aimed at expressing solidarity with the Iranian people and affirming support for the “Axis of Resistance.”

Upon their arrival, the group was officially welcomed by the Friday Prayer Leader of Maku, alongside provincial officials and local cultural figures.

The delegation then proceeded through West Azerbaijan Province, where their presence was hailed as a significant symbol of the deep-rooted cultural ties and empathy between the nations of Iran and Turkey.

The convoy’s itinerary in the region includes several high-level engagements:

Official Meetings: Consultations with the Representative of the Supreme Leader in the province.

Media Dialogue: Joint sessions with local Iranian officials and media professionals.

Public Engagement: Participation in various public gatherings and community events.

The human chain in Tabriz serves as one of the most visible demonstrations of the group’s mission. Following their stay in East and West Azerbaijan, the delegation is scheduled to travel to other major Iranian cities in the coming days.

According to organizers, the tour is designed to “broadcast a message of unity and solidarity between the Iranian and Turkish nations to the global community” amid a rapidly shifting geopolitical climate.
